Egypt is experiencing a revolution unlike they have ever seen. The people have united to riot against their government. With the President and his regime in control for the last 30 years, the people have seen and had enough. They are ready for a change and for their voice to be heard. Sadly he riots and demonstrations are becoming large in numbers and a few have turned violent. As an Egyptian, I support the protesters. I support change and the freedom in making decisions especially when it comes to your government and how you are ruled. Power to the People! I really hope this all settles down soon though and that they can agree on a peaceful outcome.Sadly, my family and I were supposed to fly out In February to see our realtives we haven't seen in years, but I am not sure that is going to happen. With the US Department issuing an advisory to not fly out at this time, we are hesitating on risking anything. However, its been a long time coming for us to visit our homeland and so we are crossing fingers that things will get better.
Until then, I pray for the government to hear their people out and for mu family to remain safe.
MASR OM EL DONYA!
